Port Ministries wants everyone in our community to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the widely used international standard for accessible websites.

What we have done

  • Checked text and button colors for readable contrast.

  • Added visible focus outlines so the site can be used with a keyboard.

  • Written text descriptions (alt text) for meaningful images.

  • Used clear headings and plain language.

  • Tested the site on phones, tablets, and desktop computers.

Known limitations

  • Some pages link to services we do not control, such as Givebutter for online giving and Google Maps, which may not fully meet these guidelines.

  • The Spanish version of the site, once available, is translated automatically and then reviewed. Some translations may be imperfect.
