What to expect

How volunteering works

  1. Tell us about yourself

Complete the volunteer interest form below. Tell us which programs interest you, what languages you speak, and when you are available.

  2. We follow up

A member of The Port Ministries staff will contact you within 3–5 business days to discuss available opportunities and next steps.

  3. Get started

Orientation, training, and screening requirements depend on the volunteer role. Our staff will explain any necessary steps before your first volunteer shift.

Volunteers working directly with children in our After-School Program must be at least 18 years old and complete a criminal background check.
